Private Tutoring:
Private tutoring can be highly effective at supporting children and young people to reach their academic potential. Research by the Education Endowment Foundation (2021) has found that pupils undertaking private tutoring make an average of four to six months additional progress each year.
We offer one-to-one and group tuition in Weston-super-Mare, led by a qualified teacher.
Individual Tuition:
Individual lessons are currently charged at £25 per hour.
Tuition is available up to GCSE level in the following subjects:
*Please note that private tuition is not offered for children below Year 3 age.
mathematics
From early number sense and fact fluency, to foundation or higher level GCSE exam preparation.
english
From learning to read and write, to literature and language GCSE exam preparation.
science
Including GCSE exam preparation for biology, chemistry and physics.
geography
Including GCSE exam preparation for physical and human geography.
After-school sessions are now fully booked!
Times are still available for lessons during school hours.
Small Group Tuition:
Group lessons are currently charged at £5 per person, per hour.

English Group for Home Educated Learners
Get specialist support with your child's English education. This group focuses on developing the knowledge and skills needed to sit GCSE English Language, including text analysis, creative writing and non-fiction writing.
Wednesdays (Term Time)
Time: 2pm to 3pm
Suitable for home educated learners aged 11 to 16.
Study Skills for GCSE
During this session, students will be supported in planning their GCSE exam revision. This will include: creating revision timetables; developing effective revision strategies; and refining exam technique.
